We were in a bind and needed to start building soon, when we called Rob last fall to see if he could help us.  We thought it was a long shot, but he came through and they were able to start our home within a couple of months.  Rob’s process from start to finish is simple and efficient. Everything came in on budget and there were no surprises or extra costs once it was complete.   He explained everything from the start, and kept in touch every step of the way.  Rob was very easy to communicate with, just  a text or a phone call away and always returned calls promptly. This was our first time building, so we were uncertain about a lot of things and he was very patient with us and all of our questions!  The companies we were referred to  were great to work with, and were very helpful with al the choices that had to be made.  We are very pleased with our custom  home and Rob made the process of building  a great experience, much better than we expected!

When we began discussing building a home, we had many questions. Rob took the time to answer all of our questions and worked with us to lay out a timeline and budget that allowed us to build exactly the home we imagined. Rob’s responsiveness gave us the peace of mind that we could contact him at anytime throughout the process. Our new construction is beautiful and was completed on time and within budget. We are so happy with our new family home!

My wife Judy and I bought 2 acres of wooded land outside Highland a few years ago with the dream of building our retirement home. When the time came to build, we had no idea about the building process much less finding a builder. We checked out several builders websites and after reading all the wonderful testimonials and viewing the custom homes that R&R New Home Construction had built, we gave Rob a call and I can tell you we were not disappointed!

He met us out at our land and walked us through the building process and answered all our questions. After we finished, we shook hands and we had a deal. Rob believes, like me, that a man’s handshake is his word.

R&R New Home Construction has a wonderful team that impressed us from start to finish. We didn’t really have a firm floor plan but we had a couple of plans we liked. Rob’s designer was able to combine the two plans and give us the blueprint for the home we dreamed of all these years.

R&R also uses topnotch vendors for flooring, lighting, cabinets, plumbing, and everything else that goes into building a home. Everyone we worked with was friendly, professional, and competent.

I’m retired so when the actual building started, I was able to visit the job site almost every day. I got to know almost everyone that worked on the house from the basement to the roof and I can tell you they are amazing craftsmen and treat your home as if they were building for their own family.

You have heard the saying, “the mail must go through come rain, hail, sleet or snow.” There are times when home construction can and does experience unforeseen weather conditions. Little did we know this spring would produce rain for days. R & R Construction was relentless, no matter what. Rock was ordered several times because of the conditions, the crews continued to become stuck in the mud. Wreckers were called many times, but Rob rose to the occasion without complaint. We are now realizing our retirement dream home in Salem, IL. Rob was always just one phone call away at any time. All of the crews Rob used to construct and finish our new home were very cooperative and informative. We thank Rob, his wife, and his entire organization for helping us obtain our second new home of our lifetime.
