Rob did a great job planning the project, he completely covered what to expect and gave us a firm bid. Rob completed our home under budget, and above expectations. I feel very comfortable referring Rob and R & R construction to anyone who is considering them.

I would highly recommend R & R Construction for your building needs. Rob was easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and always available when we had questions about construction. We were pleased with the quality workmanship and attention to detail. Thanks Rob!!

5 Star rated contractor! They built my new home and did everything exceptionally well – I could not be happier with their services. Highly recommended!

The basement was dug on July 29 and we move into the home on Sept. 25! WE could not have asked for a better contractor or working contracting team! We highly recommend Rob, he was easy to work with, easy to follow in explanations, had everything planned from day 1, week to week from start to finish and I can honestly say we had not a single major problem with anything! I look forward to seeing Rob again to thank him for everything and that our life’s dream of moving into our own beautiful home is already beginning. Thanks so much Rob, I’ve waited over ten years for this house and you made it happen in less then three months!:)

I am writing to share with you our experience working with R&R Construction. In May of 2016 a storm blew through Highland and upended our 100 yr old pecan tree. It smashed our solid brick 3 car garage. There was only one wall left standing and even it was leaning. Even the foundation was cracked. One of our vehicles was pinned inside. Our insurance company sent out a contractor from St. Louis to write up a bid to rebuild it. The only problem was, we live in one of the historic Schott Brewery houses and there are tunnels underneath our garage. The St. Louis contractor was completely afraid to work on the project. Two months went by and our rubble remained…and our car was still stuck. In frustration I reached out to several Highland contractors. Rob, of R&R Construction was actually recommended by some of the larger firms that I contacted. They focused on multi-million dollar projects and advised that I seek out a home builder. When I checked with the city for a demolition permit (to rescue our car) the city worker told me, “You will be very happy with R&R construction, they are very good at communicating and doing things on time.” and boy were they right. We are not exactly new to construction. We built a house in California several years ago. We know about delays, problems with sub-contractors, issues with permits, even world events can effect supply chains. Been there, done that. We had NONE of those issues with R&R construction. Rob always does what he says and keeps to schedule. Once we jumped through the hoops of getting our insurance payments Rob’s crew was on it. What surprised me was that not only was Rob’s crew here every day for about 4 weeks, but Rob was here too. I’d come home from the coffee shop and there he was, up there on the hill, inspecting the work of his crew. His workers were very friendly and respectful too. They showed up like clock work, every day as the sun came up. They took lunch around 10:30 am and finished the day’s work by 5:00 pm. They even work in the rain. He literally had this entire project (with MASSIVE demolition) done in about 6 weeks. My neighbors were absolutely amazed. I had no idea a foundation could be poured so quickly. It looks like a basement really, with the concrete walls going up about 4 ft since the garage is cut into a hill.
Rob works with amazing subcontractors too. Aviston Lumber was amazing. They gave me the drawings of our project and walked me through all of the options in my doors and windows. I even found an Aviston guy out there the other day cleaning a window that got dirtied by the brick layers! He was literally out there with some sort of solution washing the frame. I told him I really didn’t care of there was a brown spot on the exterior of one window, but he insisted on cleaning it. The brick guys were pretty awesome. The finished everything in three days, including my chimney. The brick guys even washed the bricks after they were done. They spent about a half a day scrubbing the walls.
So, if you are looking for a SUPER fast contractor that does what he says in the time he says, and stays on budget look no further. Rob Wutzler is your man.

When I started looking into building a house the most important things to me was to find someone quick, affordable, good quality, and someone who could build a house to my liking.  I had to move as soon as possible, but was tired of looking for houses and them falling through.  That’s when I met with Rob of R and R New Home Construction.  The first time I talked to Rob I told him what I was looking for and how I was on a time limit. He was confident he would be able to help me with everything I needed.  I was able to modify one of the floor plans he brought with him the first time we met, and customize it so it would fit my family’s needs and vision perfectly.   Rob was always a text away during the whole building process and made everything go by smoothly. There was little to no stress involved, great craftsmanship, my house was affordable, and the timeliness unheard of…The first time we met was October 18th and I was moved into my house by January 15th as he had promised.  You can’t get much quicker than that.  We love our house and highly recommend R and R!
